During this time Peace and Hope are our greatest allies. I believe we are in a season where division and disdain have taken precedence over love and forgiveness. Yeshua, paid the ultimate price and gave the ultimate sacrifice so that you and I can make a difference in this world. We all have different means of going about making a difference. We all have various gifts (i.e. prayeing, teaching, worship). Though none of the gifts alone will bring about change; all of the gifts together can. In order to heal a nation that is broken, we as believers in Yeshua must come together with all of our gifts and work as ONE toward the goal of unifying and healing by spreading peace and giving hope.
Romans chapter 5 talks about the peace and hope that we have been given through Yeshua’s sacrifice. We have been reconciled with our Lord so we must reconcile with one another and be examples to the nation. We must be the conduit that reconciles families and communities just as Yeshua was reconciled us with the Father. Our nation is currently divided and we could all use a bit more understanding but all hope isn’t lost. We have the power given to us by our Father to affect change. The success of that comes through unifying the body of believers to use the gifts that we were given.
