Intentionality

Ephesians 2:14-15

Genuine lasting relationships contain three necessary ingredients. They must be purposeful, positive, and planned. These three ingredients are essential for the establishment of any interpersonal relationship – especially a cross-cultural relationship. Look at marriage. Meeting “The One” can be accidental; however, if anything serious is to develop it can no longer be accidental. It must become purposeful, positive, and planned. How else would you begin to make dates that lead to engagement then marriage?

To answer the Call to establish genuine relationship between Jewish and Gentile believers, you must be willing to initiate purposeful, positive, and planned activity. I believe if you pray – “Lord lead me to that Jewish/Gentile believer that you want me to connect with.” –  I am convinced that our Lord would not give you a mandatory call that He is not standing ready to guide you to the right person. Do you believe Proverbs 3:5-6? I thought you did!

Just do it!
