Giving Thanks

Giving thanks in everything; for this is God's will!
-1 Thessalonians 5:18

As we reflect on the beautiful season of giving thanks and contemplate all we are thankful for in our lives, we want you to know that we are thankful for you.  We are thankful for ALL you do to share the love of Christ (Messiah) to a world full of individuals who do not yet fully understand how much they are loved—unto death.

How many people do any of us know who would truly be willing to lay down their lives for us?  I don’t know too many, and of those that I do know, only One has the authority and power of salvation and to add my name to the Lamb’s Book of Life.  The simple truth is this—if Jesus (Yeshua) never did another thing for us the rest of our lives, that which He has already done truly is enough!  I believe this is why believers are encouraged in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in everything.  That verse does not tell us to be thankful for all things rather to be thankful in all things, and if we meditate on this nugget long enough, many of us will admit that some of our greatest blessings came out of some of our most difficult seasons.

Gratitude is an attitude, and although it takes a while to cultivate, once we’ve harvested it we rarely lose sight of just how much we have already been given!  This is why the work you do is so important—vital.  Sometimes you are called to plant the seeds in others; sometimes you simply water and weed the seeds; sometimes you’re blessed to harvest the seeds; and sometimes you are fortunate to be a part of each of these seasons.  Regardless of the season(s) you are called to cultivate or even your calling in general, we hope you will never doubt that everything you do makes a difference—for His honor and for those who cross your path.  May you find peace in knowing that as you lead others to turn to and trust Him, you are are changing the world—one person at a time, and…

We are thankful for you and for those before you—the first believers—who persevered to bring the Word and faith to us!
