The Greatest Divide Healed by the Greatest Prayer

The intensity of division in America appears stronger than ever.  Anti-Semitism is at an all time high.  Despite the Civil Rights Act, the division between black and white is becoming more pronounced.  Despite campaign rhetoric espousing unity, the division between Democrats and Republicans is appalling, and the same is true in regard to gender and marriage.  Unfortunately, this is also evident within the Body of Messiah where marriages, churches and families all struggle with the spirit of division.

However, did you know the greatest divide of all…in the eyes of our Lord…is the divide between Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Jesus…His sent Messiah?  Our Lord commanded, prayed and died…for oneness…to eliminate division in His family and the world.  This oneness clearly specifies Jewish and non-Jewish believers (Ephesians 2:14), and His passionate plea for oneness is central in the “Greatest Prayer” …the High Priestly Prayer in John 17

“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:20, 21

Verses 20 and 21 reflect that when believers respond to unity, the result will be the world believing that Jesus is the sent Messiah.  This is where the “Greatest Harvest” ever will be found!  These are not my words.  They are the prophetic words of Jesus as He faced crucifixion.

“The Road to Jerusalem” is called to shine a light on His passionate plea and mandate to the universal church community.  The vision of TRTJ is to reconcile Jewish and non-Jewish believers that the world may believe, and the conduit consists of Pastors’ Tours to Israel to connect Jewish and non-Jewish pastors; Awakening Conferences in the U.S. to unite Jewish and non-Jewish believers; and Pastors and Leaders mixers and seminars to combat division globally.  I personally believe this will hasten the return of our Lord!

My life long calling has been/continues to be an ambassador for reconciliation. I co-authored the Gold Medallion book, Breaking Down Walls; served as VP of reconciliation for Promise Keepers; pastored a racially mixed church in Chicago; and am currently serving as the President and CEO of The Road to Jerusalem…to reconcile believers!  Throughout all these years I have spent advocating reconciliation, God has revealed to me that the key to His plan for Reconciliation…the “Top Button” which aligns all others…is reconciliation between believing Jews and believing non-Jews.  Getting the “Top Button” right is the necessary precursor for every other button to properly align regarding race, marriage, church and family.  We cannot do this without your help.  We need-PRAYER, VOLUNTEERS and FINANCIAL SUPPORT!

Will you help heal the divide?  Will you prayerfully consider a generous YEAR END gift to help us Heal the Greatest Divide through His Greatest Prayer and as a result play an integral role in The Greatest Harvest ever?

Grace and peace to you and your family during this holiday season.
